Hillary Aldassy’s practice centers on helping clients navigate the difficult decisions and processes involved with estate planning and probate matters. Before joining Axtell Middleton, Hillary spent five years as in-house counsel for an international food safety testing company, where she advised on and filed inbound immigration petitions for current and potential employees and their families. She oversaw federal and multi-state corporate compliance with both immigration and employment record-keeping requirements. She also assisted lead counsel on domestic and international business and real estate acquisitions.

Education. Hillary attended Santa Clara University for both her undergraduate and legal degrees. The school’s strong social justice curriculum steered her career’s trajectory working closely with clients on deeply personal matters. Hillary spent her third year in law school at the school’s community law center, providing pro-bono assistance to immigration clients in human trafficking and asylum cases. She also worked in a small, business immigration firm in San Jose. Hillary earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science and French in 2003, and her law degree in 2008.
